Coach Dave Ridgeway

Former longtime Corcoran High School coach Dave Ridgeway returns to the College of the Sequoias for his 15th season as an assistant coach. Dave’s experience and dedication add invaluable ingredients to the COS program. 

Coach Ridgeway, an Oakland native, grew up in New York. He attended New Mexico Highlands University and earned his Bachelors degree in Science. In 1967 Dave joined the teaching staff at Corcoran High School. He spent 18 years as the head coach, from 1968-1972 and again from 1981-1993. Dave was involved with the varsity team the other seasons as a volunteer assistant coach. 

Dave and his wife, Lisa, live in Corcoran. They have been married for 40 years and have two sons. He is recently retired as a full time teacher from Corcoran High School.
