COS Baseball Records

COS started its intercollegiate baseball program in the 1929, but the program was discontinued from 1932 through 1939 and again from 1941 through 1945.  In 1946 Polly Wilhelmsen brought baseball back to the college.  Baseball has been a major part of the COS athletic program through the 50 plus seasons, beginning with the Giants' 25 -7 season under coach Pete Beiden in 1947 and including many successful years under successive coaches Frank Jones, Bud Nygren, Roy Taylor, Bert Holt, Al Branco and current Head Coach Jody Allen.
